Alien Revolver – AI-Assisted Concept Art

Alien Revolver – AI-Assisted Concept Art

This was my first time collaborating with AI in the concept art process, and it turned out to be a fascinating experience. For this project, I explored the idea of fusing organic alien materials with the classic form of a traditional revolver.

I began with a simple 2D concept of a revolver, integrating alien textures and materials around it. Using this base, I employed Stable Diffusion (trained with models via CivitAI) to generate multiple design variations. Training and guiding the AI properly allowed me to unlock a wide array of shape language and color combinations—many of which I might not have considered on my own.

From the generated explorations, I selected and merged elements to produce three final concept variations of the alien revolver. This process showed me how AI, when used effectively, can genuinely enhance creativity by pushing boundaries and opening new visual pathways.
